Over 55? We want you for a show!

Can you weave a good old-fashioned tale? Tell timeless truths or share seasoned stories?

We’re assembling a group of community collaborators aged over 55 to co-create a playfully provocative performance with award-winning contemporary theatre makers, Pony Cam.

The result? Aptly titled, Anything You Can Do is a moving and timely reminder that you don’t know jack about age. Whether it be time, grief, or sex – no topic is old hat.

An initial workshop will be held in February as a chance to get to know the talented ensemble at Pony Cam, learn about the process and meet like-minded people in your community.

Over the two-month-long process together, you’ll have the opportunity to workshop material, attend rehearsals, and play a pivotal part in three full-scale performances featured in Joondalup Festival’s program in March 2025.

It’s never the same show twice, but it’s always as funny as it is fearless. Age-old myths may retire, intergenerational differences may become a thing of the past, and knackered tropes may finally be put to bed.

If you’re even a bit curious, please complete the short form linked below. Don’t worry, your expression of interest doesn’t commit you to the project. Once filled out, we’ll get in touch with more information.

Not a born show pony? That’s okay with the team at Pony Cam. No acting or performance experience is necessary!

Interested? Click below to fill out the form and we’ll get in touch to let you know more!
