A WELCOME FROM THE MAYOR

Welcome to Joondalup Festival 2026!

Every year, our festival brings something truly special to our community – the chance to come together, share extraordinary experiences, and celebrate the creativity and vibrancy that make the City of Joondalup such a wonderful place to both visit and call home.

This year’s program has been thoughtfully designed with accessibility at its heart. We’re proud to offer an impressively eclectic array of free and low-cost events and activities, ensuring that everyone can participate in what this unique festival has to offer.

Arts and culture have the remarkable power to bring people together across generations, backgrounds and experiences. Whether you’re a young family discovering the magic of live performance for the first time, a young couple enjoying an evening by the lake watching Crystal People shimmer, or a seniors’ friends group
dancing alongside teenagers at our Common People Eisteddfod, there’s something here for you. These shared moments of wonder and joy strengthen the fabric of our
community and create memories that last a lifetime.

From sunrise yoga to immersive theatre, celebrating Indigenous knowledge to spectacular parades across the water, this year’s festival unlocks a world of wonder right here in our backyard. I encourage all residents and visitors to explore the full program and discover the unusual, the unexpected, and the unforgettable.

Don’t miss your chance to experience the world of wonder unfolding across Perth’s north from March 7–22.
