THREE DELICIOUS COURSES, AN OPEN BAR, AND LIVE ACOUSTIC MUSIC IN A UNIQUE OUTDOOR SPACE

Officiating Joondalup Festival’s three-week foray is FEAST, an exclusive 50-person First Nations-led shared dining, drinking and dancing experience.

FEAST’s recently announced headline act is proud Noongar electro-pop visionary, Boox Kid – fresh off Perth Festival’s East Perth Powerstation stage. Four hours of live performances also feature the soaring vocals of Lilly Gogos, the founder of dance-hall Indigenous pop powerhouse ‘The Merindas’.

The long table degustation plates up three courses of traditional-inspired ingredients sourced and prepared by Aboriginal-owned and operated All Good Grub. Think moreish morsels flavoured with nutrient rich desert quandong (native peach), muntries (emu-apples), and Eucalyptus holiday (strawberry gum).

The open bar drinks package features Munda Wines who combine Indigenous knowledge with modern viticulture and Spinifex Brewing Co who offer unique beers infused with local WA flavours.

Come twilight, Saturday 15 March, strangers will become neighbours atop the open-aired terraced concourse of the Joondalup Library celebrating the rich and enduring Indigenous culture which connects us all.

Tickets for all this come in at just $169, with vegetarian and gluten-free options also available.
